Making Perfect Crockpot Recipes With Fire Pits

Is it beautiful outside? Are you sequestered in the kitchen cooking? Don’t you wish you may be cooking outside? Summer is here and the sky seems to gleam. Yet, you are snagged indoors. Or, maybe it is autumn where you live, and the leaves have turned a crisp golden brown. lovely white winter as snowflakes dance and sparkle in the wind. As the seasons change, one thing does not. It is always a perfect time for a crock pot cooking over a warm fire pit.

The crock pot can really accommodate a large mixture of recipes, depending on what you’re hoping to make. French onion soup is a great meal to enjoy through the wonders of a crock pot. It is quite simple to do this. First, chop up two onions of your favorite kind. Yellow onions are typically cheap at the store, and they are really tasty! In a pan, fry the diced onions. Find the crock that you will take outside, and put the fried onions inside of it. On top of the fried onions in the crock, pour in a can of beef stock broth.

The crock is now available to take to the firepits outside with the onions and beef stock inside. Give the soup a light stir now and then, and in only twenty minutes it will be complete. Don’t just walk away from it though, you need to watch it. As the onions reach a great tender consistency, it is time to move the crock pot away from the fire. Ladle it into some bowls and serve it to your guests. However, throwing in some croĆ»tons and cheese can really set this dish off. It didn’t take much work for your fire pit and crock pot to really set off a lovely meal!

A good hearty veggie and beef stew is a wonderful way to put a crock pot to use. In the crock pot, add a single can of dark soda to a beef roast. Throw in all your preferred veggies to go with it. Some great vegetables to add into the mix are baby carrots and celery. Simply keep your crockpot on low, and enjoy the amazed looks on your guests’ faces! The roast beef can be put in sandwiches or eaten by itself. The choice is yours!
